Designed for 2019-2022 GM vehicles equipped with the E90 ECM (engine control module) and T93 TCM (transmission control module), this kit enables full tuning capability—without ever removing your controllers from the vehicle. Perform the upgrade quickly and easily from your own garage or shop.
The new E90/T93 ECM Upgrade Kit empowers DIY enthusiasts and professional tuners to perform the ECM upgrade on compatible GM vehicles right at home or in the shop.
The key advantage? No need to remove the ECM from the vehicle! This eliminates the risk of damaging delicate components during removal and reinstallation.
This kit also eliminates the need for complex reprogramming or relearns. With this upgrade, you’ll gain full tuning access through HP Tuners’ VCM Suite, allowing you to optimize performance for the supported GM vehicles.

Important Notes:

  • Approximate time to upgrade each controller is as little as 20 minutes!
  • Once upgraded, experience the quickest write times in the industry—approximately 6 minutes!
  • No relearns/reprogramming required:
    • No IMMO relearn
    • No crank relearn
    • No need to perform “Replace ECM” function
  • Additional required products:
    • MPVI3 device (with its supplied USB A to C cable)
    • Latest version of VCM Suite (BETA)
    • Once you’re ready to write your new tune file, you must first license the vehicle.

The GM E90/T93 Upgrade Kit is designed for GM vehicles equipped with the E90 ECM and/or T93 TCM.

GM E90 ECM Support:

  • 2019-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 & GMC Sierra 1500 (5.3L & 6.2L V8 – L84/L87)
  • Pre-facelift models (non-Global B)

GM T93 TCM Support:

  • Various 2019+ GM vehicles equipped with 8-speed and 10-speed transmissions (non-Global B), including:
  • 2020+ Chevrolet Camaro
  • 2019-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 (5.3L, 6.2L Gas, 3.0L Duramax)
  • 2020-2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD (6.6L L5P)

Notes:

  • This kit is NOT compatible with MPVI, MPVI2, or MPVI2+ devices. Only MPVI3 devices work with this kit.
  • An E90 ECM / T93 TCM upgrade is required for tuning in VCM Editor.
  • HP Tuners’ existing E90 ECM / T93 TCM services are still available.

To initiate the warranty process, the consumer must return the alleged defective product to the place of purchase with a dated receipt and completed applicable warranty claim tag. Warranty claims will be rejected if the date of purchase cannot be established by the consumer. Do not send products directly to Holley Performance Products. HOLLEY/FLOWTECH/HOOKER/NOS/WEIAND  NEW PRODUCT Holley Performance Products warrants its new Holley, Flowtech, Hooker, NOS, and Weiand products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. Holley Performance Products Limited Warranty specifically does not apply to products, which have been (a) modified or altered in any way; (b) subjected to adverse conditions, such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion, or faulty repair; or (c) used in other than those applications recommended by Holley Performance Products. Holley Performance Products also does not warrant, and disclaims all liability for products used in racing activities and/or applications other than those specifically recommended in the current brand catalog. Holley limits the warranty on Metallic Ceramic Coatings to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This limited coating warranty does not apply to any products which have been subjected to adverse conditions, such as high heat encountered during engine break-in or if used during any racing activity.
