Tuner Kits are available for manual (LS3) and automatic (L99) transmission Gen. 5 Camaro SS. Fitment has been confirmed on 2010-2013 vehicles. Although a provision for the later model vehicles with electric power steering has been included, they have not been verified

Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the 2010-2011 6.2L Camaro SS, featuring the V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger with air-to-air charge cooler.

The complete system will boost your stock 2010-2011 SS to 581 HP and 517 lb/ft torque with 7 PSI from the V-3 Si-Trim supercharger at the factory redline.

The 5th Gen Camaro SS systems use Vortech's V-3 Si-Trim supercharger. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the V-3 Si. The "i" stands for improved and with its new patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage this V-3 Si-Trim literally blows away the competition. Industry leading 78% adiabatic efficiency [SAE J1723 standard] means less heat is being generated, drive power is reduced and more net power is produced. Less heat also means better durability. Also, Vortech's supercharger systems weigh less than half of the low-tech competing brands.

V-7 Product Summary

"Large blower" performance in a smaller package that fits most existing Vortech bracketry. The V-7 Series combines the advanced technology and race-proven performance and fits most of our existing mounting bracketry. The V-7 is designed for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme CFM/boost demands. All units feature our exclusive D-port volute for improved efficiency and require the use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to meet discharge flow demands. The heavy duty (H/D) configuration includes high speed, ceramic hybrid ball bearings, ideal for race applications, and is compatible with cog pulley/Gilmer style drive setups.

Superior Technology

  • Centrifugal superchargers easily make more pressure and flow than a roots type blower and are much more efficient.
  • Vortech supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Vortech systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decreases.

Additional Kit Options

  • For higher-horsepower, custom-tuned installations we recommend a tuner kit, which does not include fuel injectors or ECU programmer. This requires you or your installer to provide custom calibration and the required fuel components. The V-3 Si-Trim supercharger included with the tuner kit is capable of up to 775HP on modified vehicles. Tuner kits are also available with the 1,200HP V-7 YSi-Trim supercharger for high-performance racing vehicles. Call Vortech or your preferred Vortech Dealer for more information.

Available Supercharger Finishes

  • 5th Gen Camaro SS Systems are available with the standard Satin Finish, or for a more attention-grabbing appearance, we also offer them in a show quality Polished Finish.

Note: While the Maxflow Race Bypass Valve included with these Tuner Kits is adequate for the pulley/boost output the system produces out of the box, a Maxflow BV57 Valve is recommended for those looking to change pulleys and increase the boost beyond the included combination.

Installation

  • Installation time is rated at 12-14 hours.

These systems are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway (off-road use only).

Warranty Information

Vortech Engineering, Inc. offers a 3-year limited warranty on every non-racing supercharger system (manufactured on or after December 1, 1996). Systems manufactured before that date are covered by a 6-month limited warranty. Vortech Engineering, Inc. is the only aftermarket supercharger manufacturer to offer a 3-year limited warranty on its supercharger systems.
