The Chevrolet Performance L8P 6.6-liter Gen V Small-Block V8 delivers a perfect balance of modern LT-series engineering and traditional small-block strength. Designed as a high-torque workhorse and performance foundation, this engine produces 523 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 543 lb-ft of torque at 4,600 rpm, backed by a cast-iron block, forged-steel crank, and aluminum rectangular-port heads.
With direct fuel injection, a 10.8:1 compression ratio, and a factory hydraulic-roller camshaft, the L8P crate engine offers clean, efficient power ideal for restomod builds, performance swaps, or high-output truck projects seeking unmatched durability.
