Mahle/Molnar LT1/L86 Drop In Piston and Rod Kit LSXLT1STD-KIT
LSXceleration now offers a Drop-In Piston and Rod Power Package for the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette, 2016+ Chevrolet Camaro equipped with the LT1 or LT2 engine and 6.2L L86 Truck Engines. If you are looking to add boost to your L86, LT1 or LT2 Equipped Truck, Camaro or Corvette, look no further... A custom piston and connecting rod to match the factory weight and balance of the stock rotating assembly. This is a drop-in, standard bore, no machine work required kit to handle well over 1000 RWHP! This proprietary Mahle piston features a file-to-fit 1mm/1mm/2mm ring pack, deep valve relief’s for large cam profiles, a piston dish that is a mirror image of the OEM LT1 or LT2 cylinder head chamber, Mahle GRAFAL skirt coatings (for a longer piston and cylinder bore life), and a .927 wrist pin diameter. This piston also features a DI valve pocket that matches the factory height and size.
The connecting rod used in our kit is XTREMELY unique, custom designed Molnar 6.200 Power Adder Rod with heavily boosted applications in mind versus competitor’s rods which are only 6.125 in length. Our standard kit comes with a .927 .200 wall H13 Tool Steel Wrist Pin. For the LT1 and/or LT2 owner that really wants to push the limits, we have a DLC (Diamond Like Coating) option for those wanting to make 1400+ RWHP with this kit.
